Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Marsabit
- Depart early from Nairobi in a Land Cruiser
- Drive past Nanyuki and Timau, stop for fuel at Isiolo
- Photo stop and sightseeing at Mt. Ololokwe
- Arrive in Marsabit, visit Lake Paradise in Marsabit National Park
- Camp at the park gate for the night, enjoy sunset views
Day 2: Marsabit to Chalbi Desert – Kalacha Oasis – North Horr
- Breakfast at camp
- Cross the Chalbi Desert with skilled drivers
- Visit Kalacha Oasis, a pleasant surprise in the desert
- Spend the evening in cottages at the edge of the desert
- Enjoy stargazing at night
Day 3: North Horr – Ngurunit
- Depart south to the Ndoto Mountain range
- Arrive at the oasis village of Ngurunit
- Enjoy hiking in the hills and swimming in pleasant pools
Day 4: Ngurunit to Nairobi
- Breakfast at camp
- Optional morning swim at the rock pool
- Depart for Nairobi, arriving early in the evening
